My Wish This Christmas....

My Wish This Christmas is a little different then when I was a young girl which was a dog but so far it never has happened. So this year I am not wishing for a dog but that my family and friends will be safe and healthy. That may sound a little corny but that's how I feel. I know one day I will be able to have a dog again but just not now. My dream dog is a Great Dane (This is what a Great Dane is Kevin). They are an awesome breed of dog. They maybe big but I love them anyways. Since working at the Vet Hospital I have been able to see some Great Danes and seeing them up close makes me so much more sure that is a dog for me someday. I am so glad to be working at a Vet Hospital and mostly the one I am working at. All of my co-workers are so much fun to work with and are really awesome. This is where I need to be and I am so grateful to be there. I hope all who reads my blog will have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Some of My Favorite Things.....

I was thinking about the song from The Sound of Music, My Favorite Things and I thought it would be fun to write down some of my favorite things. Starting with 10 to 1 mean my all time favorite thing. So here it goes.







10. Clothes. But the thing is I have a hard time finding clothes I like but when I find a item of clothing that I totally like that is so great! My favorite outfit is jeans, western shirt, and fatbabys (cowgirl boots, they are awesome!)









9. Movies. I really like watching movies. A few of my favorite movies are: High School Musical 1 and 2 ( I haven't seen the 3rd one yet) The Man from Snowy River and Return to Snowy River, All three Pirate movies, and old disney movies like That Darn Cat and The Love Bug. Grab a bowl of popcorn, some Dots, and sit down to a good movie and that is a real good time.








8.Swimming. I really enjoy it! The water feels so good on a hot day and when I glide through the water I feel like a dolphin. It is so much fun!







7.Dancing. I enjoy letting the music guiding me and I sometimes can't help it to starting dancing a little when I hear a song I like. Dancing is awesome!







6.Music. I really like music. My favorite is country . Music can say things that words can't and it can help me feel better.





5.Food. I enjoy food a lot! Eating, making it and sharing it with others. In some ways when I cook it is very relaxing. I can remember the food that was part of the special times of my life. Food is great!



4.Traveling. I enjoy going on trips. So far I have been to: Venice, Florence, and Pisa Italy and Salzburg, Austria, a number of states, and Canada. I really enjoy traveling . My next place I would like to go is Australia. I always wanted to go there since I was a young girl. I hope I'll get to see more of the world someday.

3.Horses and horseback riding. I love everything about horses! The way they smell so rich and clean, saddles and bridles, all the different breeds, the way I feel when I am riding high on a horse and nothing can touch me. When I am riding a horse my mind is clear and nothing else matters. Horses and riding them is my little piece of heaven.

2. Books. I so much love books! Ever since I can remember I loved reading books. My whole family does too and I am glad that my parents started us kids at a young age of taking us to the library and introducing us to the wonderful world of books. I think one of the best way to have an adventure is to read a book. Books are the best!

1.Animals are my number 1 favorite thing. They bring so much joy to my life. As long as I can remember I have always loved animals.As a child I grow up with dogs and cats, in New Mexico we had a little farm and we had two pigs, a goat, and chickens. While we were living in Iowa City we bottle fed some lambs and I really enjoyed that and I hope I get another chance to do it again. Animals are so part of who I am and I am so happy when I am with them. We can all learn a lot from animals, they love you unconditionally and they understand when you need a little extra love. Heavenly Father must surely love us all to have created animals. They are a blessing in my life and I look forward when I will be able to have a dog, a cat, etc.

I Love My Sisters!

I am so happy to have as many sisters that I do and that I can always can talk to one of them when I need to. They are a bulid in best friend and since a child I had a great time with them all. Now that I am older they are still very special to them and even though I don't tell them very often that they mean a lot to me but I will now take a chance to tell all (and yes that includes Stephanie, Evangelina, and Elizabeth.) of my sisters that I love you all! I have learn so much from all of you and I want to tell you thank you all for being there for me and for being undertanding even when you don't know whats the problem.

Happy Birthday Becky!

Today is my sister's Becky birthday and I want to wish her a Happy Birthday! Growing up both of us didn't always get along (mainly it was me) but now we get along so well and I so enjoy having her as my sister. B is for bookworm E is for elegant, C is for Christlike, K is for kind, and Y is for young. These words are what comes to my mind when I think of my sister, Becky. Happy Birthday Becky! I hope all your wishes will come true. Happy cake eating!

David Archuleta's Very First Album!

David Archuleta album is now out! It came out on November 11th and I boughted it at Wal-Mart and I really like it. It is so nice to have David's album (finelly!) I hope to see more to come. His voice is so powerful and I enjoy listening to it. Since this is my blog I wanted to tell you about the things that I like and David Archuleta is one of them. The Kitty Litter Cake

I had been planning for a while to make a Kitty Litter Cake and take it to work on Halloween and I did. Yesterday Mom help me make it. It turned out really good! Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to everyone! Last night was Davenport's trick or treat night since on Halloween night they have a parade. Mom and I handed out the candy and we were prepared. The frist picture of candy is before and the second one is after. Trick or Treat was from 5-8 and we were one of the few who was still had candy at 8. Everytime mom and I went to Wal-Mart before Halloween we would buy a few bags since last year we ran out early. I had fun passing out the candy, and seeing the kids in all their different costumes. It was just the perfect weather too, cool and comfty. All together is was a enjoyable evening.

The Waltons... Again!

I know that I have posted about The Waltons on my blog before but I still want to tell everyone what a great show it is. I am now on season 6 and I also bought seasons 7 at Wal-Mart for 19.98 each ( which is so great!) For those who want a great family show then The Waltons are for you!

I really enjoy watching the Walton family grow up and learn which at the time is hard. Being from a large family I can understand how crazy but fun it can be. I love The Waltons!

Fun at the Zoo!

In August my brother, Kevin his wife Stephanie, and their daugther Sade came to vist for a week. One of the things we did was go to the Niabi Zoo. I was glad we went since I have been wanting to go for a while. Here are a few pictures of our zoo adventure. I am sorry for not having anything new for a while but I have be so busy with my jobs that I haven't had any time until now. I will try to do better.

Kit Kittredge

On this 4th of July my mom and I went to see the movie Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. The other three American Girl movies were not in the theater so it was interesting to see this one on the big screen. It was a fun and cute movie. The other American Girl movies are Samantha, Felicity, and Molly. Both me and my Mom are hoping that they will make Kirsten who is the pioneer of the American Girls. I give this movie a rating between 1 and 10 with 1 being the worst to 10 being the best a 8. It is a good family movie and for girls between the ages of 6-11. But yeah I am still a kid at heart so I guess it doesn't matter what age you are as long as you have fun. So Enjoy! Happy 4th of July!

The Waltons

For our trip out to Utah/Idaho I brought along my probable DVD player and to watch on it I bought the Waltons. I really like the Waltons a lot! For those who don't know who the Waltons are I will explain: The Waltons are about a family living in Virginia during the Depression. There are 7 kids, their parents and grandparents living in a big white house up on Walton Mountains. Each episode is from John Boy who is the oldest of the 7 children point of veiw. Then comes Jason, Mary Ellen, Ben, Erin, Jim Bob, and Elizabeth. The Waltons is a family show with good times, and a wholesome plot in each episode. I highly recommand The Waltons for anyone who wants something wholesome and fun to watch. So Enjoy!

Saying Goodbye To The Kittens

Tomorrow (6-4-08)the kittens will be going back to the animal shelter and I have mixed feelings about that. I've had them since they were 5 days old and now they are 7 or 8 weeks( I am not sure which). I know this may sound werid but I feel that I was their mom and my heart will break to see them go and not to be around to see them grow up and to keep them safe. Taking care of the kittens was such a great experince which I will never forget. Ash is the black kitten, Charles is the orange and white kitten, and Willy is the light orange kitten. My other feeling is that hopefully the kittens will be adpoted into loving homes where they will be beloved pets to their families. I will always love my boys!

Prince Caspian

Last Friday (5-16-08) Megan , Allison (a friend of Megan's) and I went to see Prince Caspian and it was so good that on Monday Megan and I went to see it again. I highly recommend this movie. Awesome speical effects, great acting, and great music! It is worth the $9.50 to go and since I don't go to the movies very much it was well worth it. You will get lost in the world of Narnia for 2 hours and it is a great place to vist. I also highly recommend listening to The Chronicles of Narnia on CD by Focus on the Family Radio Theatre I had borrowed it from a friend a while ago and just lately I order it and I am so happy to have it. The New American Idol

Last night (5-21-08) was the final show for American Idol and it was pretty good until the end when the New American Idol was announced and it is: David Cook. I was soooooo bumed and today I am still. I know it is just a show but I really got into it and this is the first year that I voted but that didn't even help . I still like David Archuleta and I think he will go far. He is mine American Idol and I am looking forward to see what David Archuleta will do and I bet it will be something amazing!

The Final 2

American Idol

Last night (5-14-08) on American Idol Syesha was voted off and so now it is down to the two Davids. My vote is still for David Archuleta ever since the very first audition I saw of him on the show. He is seems like a person who won't lose sight of who is he and his voice is amazing! I can't wait until next week to vote for him and to see want happens. Go David Archuleta!

My love for Animals

For as long as I can remember I have always loved animals. They are so part

of who I am and I feel a little lost without them around. We all were given a gift to share with the world and help others. I feel sometimes that my gift for animals isn't understood very will with certain people in my life. Maybe I should make it clear: My love/gift for animals isn't just a small thing. I feel my happiest when I am with them and they don't care about the dumb stuff we, humans seem to care about. We all can learn a lot from animals. Animals love you no matter what and will always be there when you need them. I feel things differently when I am with animals but it is are hard to explain, I just feel them. I want to beable to share my life with animals and I am somewhat now but I want to be able to have pets of my own. My dream dog is a Great Dane. They are sooooooooo big, fun, and sweet. I hope some day that this dream will come true. But for now I guess I'll have to keep dreaming. I love animals!

American Idol

American Idol

Tonight it is down to the final 4 and David Archuleta is still my pick for the next American Idol. David has a great voice and I enjoying listening to it and he seems like a nice guy. He also has a great smile!

David did so well tonight! He sang Stand By Me and Love Me Tender and he sang both songs totally awesome! Only two more weeks left and then the final show! I think it will be between both Davids and it will be interesting! I voted for David Archuelta tonight for the first time!

Kittens!

I am fostering 3 kittens for work. For those who

don't know I work at a vet office and I really like it.

I got them last Friday (4-18-08). I think they are 2 weeks old now.
They are all boys and are doing well.



Megan named the black one, Bagheera after the pather in the Jungle Book but the other two I don't have any names for them yet. Any ideas?

At frist the kittens needed to be feed every two hours but now I fed them every three hours they seem to do well with that. Last Saturday I was so tried and I had to work which was hard but it was worth it. Knowing someone is depenting on you to take care of their every need is very humbling which has been good for me. All I want now is for the kittens to be healthly and to be able to be adopted into good homes when that time comes.

My week.....

Today is April 1 , 2008

Mom and Megan lefted for Utah yesturday and they will be gone for 2 weeks.

So it will be just Dad and I, so lets party! Just kidding! I don't have anytime for fun. Why don't I have fun well I have two jobs. In the mornings on Mondays, Wednesdays, Firdays and everyother Saturday I work at a Veterinary office and then it every afternoon but Saturdays and Sundays I baby-sit for a family who has 3 children, ages ranging from a year old to 3 years old. There are two boys and one girl. All I do is sleep, eat, and work with a some watching of movies and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays American Idol.

On Saturday night Mom, dad, and I watched Enchanted (Megan was baby-sitting). It was pretty good but not a favorite. There was no wow this is a great movie! just that was a cute movie. It was worth watching.

As you can see I am still get to know how to do a blog so bear with me until I

am as good or some what good as my sisters. All I want to do with my blog is so show everyone who looks at it more about myself and what I think about things.
