Fall

The fall is my favorite season of all the 4 seasons. I love seeing the leaves change colors and the crisp cool air. One of my favorite things to do in the fall is to go apple picking and baking.
This my 2nd Utah fall and it is so beautiful here with the mountains. I went to Cornbelly's which is a corn maze in Thanksgiving Point, UT with Jenny, Scott and Adam. I had a lot of fun there. I love the Fall!

Cowboy

Here are some pictures of Cowboy. He is a really great dog and I am excited to train him. He is doing better with listening and I am working on being clam-assertive as the pack leader. I have been using and learning Cesar Millan's techniques.

The On Going Job of Finding a Job

Today I found out that I didn't get the job at a vet hospital that I applied at last Wednesday.. There two ways that I could respond to this: 1. is to get mad and cry out" Why me"? and then 2. To keep on going and not give up even when it is hard and to trust the Lord. I want so much to work at a veterinarian hospital. I really love being around the animals, working with the vets and the vet techs. I will keep going until I full fill my dreams!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

On Thursday night at 11:35pm I went with Jenny, Adam, Austin, and Scott (Stephanie's brothers) to see the movie Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and I really liked it. It was fun being out late at the theater but the next day I was really wiped out but it was worth it. For those who are true Harry Potter fans this was great! Happy watching!

The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones

The first time I found out about The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones was while I was living in Iowa and checked the 1st season out of the library and then found a VHS at the library and so I bought it. I really like it! You get to follow young Indy around for the age of 10 to an young man to witness all of his adventures he has. If you like the three Indiana Jones movies you will like these. A lot of fun!

American Idol Finale

Tonight is the finale for American Idol and the two finalists are Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. Both singers are really great and I like them both but I really believe that Adam Lambert is going to win. He is very good performer and talented singer but his taste of music is not quiet my thing even though I have voted for him for the most part. He is very fun to watch and I never know what he is going to do with each song. Kris Allen's style of music is more my thing. I have enjoyed this season very much and it has been fun to talk about it with Becky and Neil. I will be happy if either one wins. Best wishes to Adam and Kris!

My Utah Trip!

On January 22, 2009 I flew out to Utah for my birthday. Becky and Spencer picked me up from the airport. I stay with Becky, Daniel, and Spencer which was a lot of fun for me. I thought that Spencer would be shy with me but he wasn't. He would bring me toys and other items for me to hand back to him and then sometimes he would go away and then come and continue his little game. On my birthday I went to a book sale at the Provo Public Library and I bought some LDS books like the third book in the series: Hearts of the Children by: Dean Hughes for only one dollar! Neil came over for my birthday dinner which was: homemade pizza and root beer floats. After dinner Becky and I went to the BYU Mens Basketball game. I haven't been to any basketball game but I had fun cheering on BYU. Go Cougars! After the game Becky asked if I wanted to go get so hot cocoa and I of course said yes and so we went to Mimi's Cafe and as I walk in one of my friends Melissa Meyer was standing right there and I was so excited I backed out the door. Becky had planned this earlier she had invited some of my other friends but they couldn't make it but it was so great to see her after 2 years! We didn't want to stay and eat so we went over to Barnes and Noble which was close by. Melissa and I had hot cocoa and Becky had a Italian soda. It was a great birthday! On Tuesday I meet two of my other friends (Adam and Joffery) at the mall and we just hang out and talked. Then on Wednesday I meet friends (Adam and Joffery) at the movies and we went to see The City of Ember (which was a good movie). Then later we went to play pool at Fat Cats with another friend, Sofia and then Melissa meet us later. I had never play pool before but my friends showed me how and it was fun. I loved being in Utah it was such a nice break and so inspiring. I was and still are really happy I was able to my friends and family while was in Utah. More pictures to come. Ciao for now.

The Partridge Family

A while ago I checked out from the library the first and second season of the Partridge Family and I really enjoyed them so I checked them out again just recently and so I wanted to share with all of you another great find. This was a show that was on TV on during the late 60's and on into the 70's. There are 5 kids with their widow mother and they are a family band. It maybe a little corny in some parts but I still like having another wholesome show to watch. So I hope you will give the Partridge Family a try. Happy watching!

Inkheart

While I was out in Utah (more about that later) I went to see the movie Inkheart with Neil. It is based on the book by Cornelia Funke which is a great book! I was very pleased with the movie. I was so happy to see this book be made into a movie. It is a magical adventure. So I recommend both the movie and book. Happy reading and watching!
